Just purchased this mouse unit based on cost and regretting not having purchased a better unit. The mouse unit, while being smaller and having a relatively nice grip on palm, does not like sudden drops. One of the batteries seems to come loose any time it is dropped onto a surface, even within an inch off surface and will stop working.

I can't have a mouse where the clicker is so loud that it disturbs people across the room. Granted, our office is pretty quiet, so that made the sound quite noticeable, unfortunately.
